47 Years from the beginning until today, the story of JBP

In 1977 JBP International Paint Company Limited has been founded in 1977 with the attention of Prapan Rachanakul and Chongkol Rachanakul who realized that there are an increasing number of requirements of paint and coating in Thailand continuously. Therefore, the company is founded with the strong commitment to have high quality paint products to meet market requirement in Thailand comes with international standards.

2008 Green Label Thailand

Green Label is a label awarded to products by the Thai Industrial Standards Institute and the Thai Environment Institute, responsible for assessing and verifying product certification.The criteria for consideration are as follows: Products have less environmental impact compared to similar products in their category. Products are energy-efficient and utilize resources efficiently to reduce environmental pollution. Products bearing the Green Label Therefore, it is good in terms of quality and is environmentally friendly. 'Check the Green Label for good products, for a greener world'

2016 Energy Saving Label

The label displays the solar reflectance efficiency, which indicates the energy-saving and high-performance qualities must reflect solar radiation at 81% or more. The efficiency value shown on the label is obtained through actual testing according to the standards and certification mechanisms set by the Department of Alternative Energy Development and Efficiency, Ministry of Energy.
Energy Saving label instills confidence in consumers that it will help reduce energy costs and save money for them. It also helps reduce the country's energy consumption.

2018 French Emissions Standard

The standard from France. It certifies that products meeting these standards have volatile emissions inside the building and toxicity risks from inhalation at which levels. JBP products, which have achieved the A+ level standard, ensure the highest safety, free from the evaporation of toxic substances.

2019 Sensitive Choice Standard

The Sensitive Choice standard from The National Asthma Council Australia signify the highest level of safety for products, even for individuals with allergies or respiratory disease. Non-irritating to the skin, clean, and exceptionally safe, particularly for children, infants, and patients.

2020 Eco-Friendly Packaging

ECO-FRIENDLY PACKAGING : Phase 1+

Started using containers made from recycled plastic in JBP Air Clean Plus products. The containers contain 20% recycled plastic, with collaboration from Srithai Superware.
JBP is the first building paint brand in Thailand to start using packaging that contains recycled plastic and is 100% recyclable. The containers have also received awards for environmentally friendly packaging at both national and regional in Asia.

2022 One World : One Future Together

JBP has initiated the One World: One Future Together project, in collaboration with partners Srithai Superware, Thai Watsadu, and UAC Global with the objective of mitigating climate change, reducing energy consumption, lowering greenhouse gas emissions, and announcing a standpoint to be a part of the business sector in taking responsibility for environmental issues and sustaining the economic growth of Thailand for the future.

2023 JBP GOOD PAINT RE-ACRYLIC

Collaborative Recycled Paint for Sustainable Wellbeing, Products created by collaboration from all partners in One World : One Future Together, designed by the principles of the Circular Economy concept, to enhance the efficiency of waste management, raw materials, expired products, and energy to be circulated for further use. The first recycled building paint brand in Thailand where the paint is produced from 35% or more of the remaining acrylic paint brought into the process and used to produce new products by using JBP's specialized technology.

2023 Collaborates with SCGC to develop containers made from PCR plastic.

In partnership with SCG Chemicals, paint containers were developed using plastic that consumers had already used, through processes that allow plastic waste to be reused. This innovation, known as PCR (Post-Consumer Recycled Resin) plastic, is utilized as packaging for JBP paint to reduce resource consumption and greenhouse gas emissions.

2024, Smart Shield X was launched, the first building paint brand in Thailand that use containers made from PCR plastic.
