JBP reinforces its image as a leader in sustainable building paint in a promotion of global environmental protection at the Asia Pacific Coatings Show 2023.
Mr. Sarawut Rachanakul, Chief Executive Officer of J.B.P. International Paint Company Limited, the country’s leading manufacturer and distributor of products in the paint industry and the President of the Thai Paint Manufacturers Association (TPMA), together opened the “Asia Pacific Coatings Show 2023,” a paint and coatings exhibition in the Asia Pacific region. They also recently took part in a discussion of “Green Supply Chain Collaborative Innovation in the Coating Industry” to promote cooperation between partners in the preservation of the environment while maintaining sustainable development, at the BITEC Bangna Exhibition and Convention Center.
The Asia Pacific Coatings Show 2023 is a trade show for domestic and international producers and distributors of raw materials and equipment in the paint coating business. It provides networking opportunities for personnel in the industry and promotes innovative paint-coating technology in accordance with environmental protection and sustainable development guidelines.
JBP supports activities that help promote the growth of the Thai paint industry and shares information and experience in the “Green Supply Chain Collaborative Innovation in Coating Industry.” This highlights innovation and creates potential for supply chain management in an environmentally friendly way that leads to sustainability. Concrete work is done, such as the One World, One Future Together project in collaboration with network organizations that share the same goal. These include the Srithai Superware Public Co Ltd, CRC Thai Watsadu Co Ltd, and UAC Global Public Co Ltd. This will continue until new products are developed. The circular economy concept has inspired the creation of Thailand’s first collaborative recycled product, “JBP Good Paint Re-Acrylic.” The emphasis is on the quality of life, environment, and sustainable use of resources.
JBP is also collaborating with SCG Chemicals to create paint buckets made from recycled plastic that have already been used by consumers. This innovation allows plastic waste to be reused. The material is also known as PCR (Post-Consumer Recycled Resin) and is used to package JBP paints and reduce resource consumption and greenhouse gas emissions. These materials have the least environmental impact. This reinforcing our leadership in a building paint industry that strives to operate with social and environmental responsibility in mind.
JBP, we remain committed to innovation in the development of new products which will have least effect on our environment. We have started cooperating with partners and are developing a network with those who share our goal to improve the future of our world. This has led to leadership in the building paint industry for sustainable well-being.
